The Halibut

Fish is one of our family’s favorite food. We love it in any cooked form and Halibut is not an exception. When planing our weekly menu, I always include a couple of fish dishes. Since Halibut was on sale this week, I couldn’t pass by it. Even though, Halibut is an expensive fish, it is very tasty and has great health benefits.

Halibut health benefits:

We live in Seattle – a region known for its continuous raining and sun it’s something greatly missed. You probably know that if a person is not exposed to sun then most likely is deficient on vitamin D, which is very important for a healthy living. Well, 3 oz of halibut has 233% of vitamin D along with 20% of vitamin B-6, 14% fo vitamin B-12, 5% of Magnesium, and 3% of Iron. So, yes, a great fish for our family at least.

The recipe:

This is an easy, yet tasty recipe that will satisfy everyone. Should I mention that it looks so beautiful and all the spices look so good on the white fish – absolutely mouth-watering!
